It's too late to even try to explain it away. Unfortunately for Keith - there's no way to retrieve it. If Keith were being treated unfairly and was absolutely innocent of these charges I certainly think that Bravo would have defended him and apologized for airing these when they could have shown something original. I for one will be anxious to see Keith's sketches on the show. That's always one of my favorite parts. We'll all be watching for Keith's sketches, won't we? :)
I do not in any way believe that the "Sketchgate" scandal is the same "naughty" thing that "he" will be "asked to leave" for. I also do not believe that the "asked to leave" will happen tonight. We know from Heidi's interviews that this will be several weeks into the season. I believe that at this point in the filming and throughout Keith's duration that he will never be called out for these traced images - or for misrepresenting himself in any way. Whether he worked for Wyeth or not was either settled before the show began, or isn't important enough to matter to the producers. Keith crowed that he had just made his first dress when he won the challenge so obviously he wasn't concerned about being "caught" in a lie about his womenswear experience.
However it is entirely possible and even probable that Keith is the one "asked to leave" but just not for this. Why? Because Bravo isn't issuing any statement defending their designer. That's why. Also, he has displayed the character of a person who will say anything or do anything to get what he wants. He makes a great reality show contestant.
This does not mean that he isn't a nice person and a great designer. I'm sure that he is. He has a lot of fans and he is adorable!
Well, I just wanted to be clear about the newspaper post. It was just for fun. I thought you would enjoy it. I didn't mean to stir up a lot of questions. Hopefully I have stated my opinions more clearly here. They are only opinions - not necessarily the way things will play out....We'll have to watch and see.
