The presentation, titled “Brave New World,” takes inspiration from architecture, technology and the elements of time, specifically drawing from the work of architect Frank Gehry and the design concepts of visual and performance artist Nick Cave. Hair and makeup will be headed-up by hair guru Robert Gioria of the Robert G Salon, bringing his beauty expertise to the runway after working on the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Julianne Moore and Mariah Carey, to name a few.
Zulema is also focusing on building a retail presence within the industry and is planning to spearhead efforts with this collection. Aimed at women aged 18 – 35, Zulema’s sportswear, suiting and cocktail dresses span a size range of 0 – 18, as the line fosters the idea of luxury and great design for women of all sizes.
