Heidi showed up around 11:45 and quickly went into the tent via the front entrance. Santino Rice showed up as did Emmett McCarthy and Daniel Vosovic. Malan Breton was working the line being very friendly and chatty and posing for pictures with people.
Around 12:15 (at which point the line had gotten very long) they announced that they would be letting in 100 people for Standing room only. There were seats but they appeared to be reserved and if anyone in the line got a seat I can't be sure.
Judy and I managed to get in but it filled very quickly, considering how close we were to the front of the line there must have been a lot of disappointed fans.
Bravo President, Lauren Zalaznick came out and made a short speech about the coming season, and then Heidi came out. She explained that Michael Kors was overseas, talked a little about the new season and told us that we would be seeing three fashions from each of the designers. And the show started!
There were some very nice pieces, but there were also a couple that made us wonder just what the heck could possibly have inspired any designer to create them.
After the models had finished, all the designers walked out with one model.
Security pushed me out a side door but Judy hung in there and managed to score one of the gift bags, which contained some candy bars (much appreciated we were starved by this time) some cosmetics and a $100 gift certificate to Bluefly.
Afterwards we hung around a while and said Hi to Daniel, Malan and chatted for a moment with Santino.
Inside the tent I was pressed into the back wall so all my fancy photo gear didn't do me much good. My model shots are a bit blurry, sorry about that. Hope you can use them.
