Tim was on hand to personally sign his new and improved (talking!) bobblehead – created by the brilliant minds at EMc2! Many fans stopped in to pick one up, have it signed and to spend a minute chatting with Tim.
Tim was very accommodating, as always and it was a pleasure to see him and hear his thoughts on the new season. He didn’t give away any details, but did say that could understand how last week’s “auf-ing” of Chris was causing much controversy among fans. Emmett said that the other previous designers were shocked as well (he said he heard from Chloe that night!)
The crowd didn’t appear to be as big as at previous events, but those that were in attendance were excited and enthusiastic. We spoke to several fans waiting to meet Tim and one girl I met – Sarah – was there with her boyfriend and her friend Kelly.
Her boyfriend seemed more interested in getting the score from the Giants-Eagles game, but he was a good sport and waited patiently! Sarah is playing “Fantasy Runway” (along with the rest of us!) and her favorite designers so far this season are Rami and Jillian.
There was a woman there with her two dogs and she said the dogs are rooting for Jack and Elisa!
Speaking of Jack, about halfway through the session, Jack Mackenroth arrived along with his brother, Adam, for a quick visit!
He also was not able to discuss the current season, but it was nice to get to meet him. He was meeting Kevin Christiana and Christian Siriano there and then they were all going to grab lunch. Kevin and Christian arrived and Tim asked them if they are being recognized on the streets and they talked about how surreal the whole experience has been. All of the designers graciously posed for pictures before they left.
After the Season 4 guys left, Tim was being interviewed for People magazine! At that point I had really accomplished everything I wanted to (including purchasing my very own autographed Tim bobblehead!) It was a fun day and I was thankful once again to Emmett and his staff for opening their “home” to us!
