There are several bars and low-calorie hors d'oeuvres offered to us about every five minutes. We didn't drink, but the snacks were delicious. We settled into comfy seats at the back of the room to watch what was going on. There were some beautiful young girls there. I had no idea who any of them were but later Dan told me that he saw Kim Kardashian and Jaime Pressly. Macy Gray was the DJ, I did recognize her!

The show was about to begin when we were escorted to the "VIP" section. YAY! Thanks Tim! These seats were even closer.
Corey was there too, so I asked him for a little info: He said that Rachel was very inspiring because she has lost weight on the program and encouraged others with her story. Also, there would be ten models who have lost anywhere from 19 to 220 pounds! These models were chosen from among the women who signed up for the Style Your Slim program.
The show was about to begin! I told Dan that the hostess was Rachel Hunter. "Who?" "Oh, you know, the supermodel." "....." "Used to be married to Rod Stewart..." "......" "Ummmmm, Stacy's mom?" "Oh - yeah! Stacy's mom, has got it goin' on!" NOW he recognizes her!
Rachel is gorgeous and has a lovely accent. She introduced the show and explained that the "Style Your Slim" campaign was designed to encourage women to reach a healthy and appropriate weight, (not necessarily to become super-skinny.)
The fashion show began with Tim introducing each model as she walked the runway. They were all wearing Chloe's designs and they came in many different sizes, but each woman was beautiful. Not just their clothes, but their hair, make-up and acccessories were stunning. These girls were just glowing! You can see them all here. My very favorite dress was the turquoise silk that Chloe was wearing. It looked just as good on the taller model.
I have to pause here and say that I find Chloe to be extremely impressive. There is a LOT of talent packed into a very petite young woman. She seemed to choose the ideal garments for each model. They all looked happy and confident and comfortable. It was a great show.
Each model walked the runway twice in different garments. The first time Tim introduced them and said how much weight each one had lost. The second time he provided a little more information about the women and it was great. Tim was smooth and polished. You could tell that he was well-prepared.
I was also relieved to notice that there were no embarrassing "before" photos posted of the women. It is enough to say that someone lost 80 pounds - you don't have to show the photo. THANK YOU.
At the end of the show all of the models came out along with Rachel, Tim and Chloe. Rachel said good night and the show was over, but not the party.
Tim came through and greeted us. Macy Gray had the room hopping but I knew that it was time to head back to the hotel. We only got a little bit lost. After a good night's sleep we headed home on Wednesday morning.
It was a wonderful trip!
