The atmosphere was pure Club Kid, with noted celebrities Kim Stoltz (from America’s Next Top Model), Leven Rambin (Sarah Connor Chronicles), the Postelles, and Sophia Lamar (a striking and very amusing transsexual actress). Guests’ outfits were on the glam side, with chains, fur, and feathers flying high.
Bravo’s Andy Cohen made the scene with bicoastal housewives – Vicky Gunvalson (Orange County) and NeNe Leakes (Atlanta).
I spent some time talking to Sam Bennett, Christian’s assistant designer. He met Christian when they both worked at the same mall in Annapolis Maryland (Sam at Nordstroms and Christian at Banana Republic).
I also spoke at length (actually we yelled in each other’s ears a lot) with a guest from Weinstein Company – but I’m sworn to secrecy!
The party was sponsored by 42 Below Vodka (very appropriate given the polar temperature outside the club) and Evian. The alcohol flowed, music blared, and guests got loose. In a word – fierce.
