Oh Michael Kors! How I have missed thee! It was like watching American Idol without Simon Cowell. loved it when Heidi said it looked like Christopher's model was going to eat Lobster and it looked like she forgot to take out her bib! When she came down the runway I said "It's a baby bib!"
I love that in the photo of Irina's new holiday dress to be sold at select Macy's stores was her model from the show, Katie! She looks beautiful in the picture and in the dress!
I have to say, Models of the Runway does such a great job of re-capping what the models think and their whole experience being on the show that I feel like I don't know what to say anymore! :)
I believe I met Michael Maddox at a casting before. He was doing a casting for a fashion show in Jamaica. He seemed to like my walk but I didn't book it, I guess I just didn't have the Jamaica look. At least he was very nice to me!
The model selection is getting tougher each episode. There just isn't a bad walker in the bunch! It just comes down to personal preference, their look, and the measurements. Which girl is easiest to fit? Which girl is easiest to work with? Who has the best walk? These are all things going through the designer's heads when they are choosing. I know some designers are afraid to choose a new girl, and I appreciate their loyalty, but if it makes more sense to them to change models, then I think they should just do it. But I was in that scenario a few times myself.. and I was so happy Kayne kept me in the game!
I think this was my favorite episode so far because it's getting down to a more skilled group of designers, the better walkers, and Michael was back and better than the earlier part of the season! Now we just need Nina back and we'll be in business!
