Amanda's Take - Season 7 - Episode 2 - Continued

Burlap can't have been the easiest fabric to manipulate, but it was incredible to see what the designers came up with. Alexis looked incredible in Anthony's dark pink short dress. It doesn't surprise me that Elizaveta might have not walked as well as she did last week because her butt was hanging out! If I were the unfortunate recipient of that dress, I would have tried my hardest to convince Ping to sew me into the skirt, and if all else failed, I would have worn it with a big smile, because that poor outfit needed a sense of humor!

Lorena really wowed me this week on the runway. She not only looked incredible in Mila's dress, that dress made her stand out more! I am sure she was good last week too, but somehow she became the star of the show! It really does enhance a model's walk when she wears something that makes her feel sexy and powerful!

Wow Kristina was transformed with that black wig! She really came out of her shell (not that she was in a shell!) and I was like.. who is that! She really helped Seth Aaron's look because she had the incredible edgy attitude and strength - the look on her face said to me, "what, why isn't everyone wearing burlap this season? It's so sexy!" She sold that to me!

I adored the way Alison modeled Amy's dress because she let her arms flow with the flowy skirt part of the dress she was wearing. Her movements went with the style and mood of the garment and helped to enhance the ease and lightness her designer intended for the look to embody. Lightness! From BURLAP! Amazing! I noticed also how Holly slowed her walk down because her dress this week was more serious.. longer and a more evening silhouette. That is exactly what Emilio's dress needed. Last week she walked a little more fast and flouncy because that is what the shorter dress called for. Brittany definitely sold Jesus's!! Monique looked great in Maya's dress, however I think she may have been a little too sassy for it.. but not bad!

I am really loving the models this season! Great work WORKIN' it ladies!

Love,
Amanda
