My personal favorite was the boned swimsuit and jacket combo, possibly one of the hottest outfits to ever walk the earth! The shoulders of the jacket were covered with huge sea urchin spines and it was truly stunning.
Also the trilobite dress! Dozens and dozens of pattern pieces, every single one a different size. Can I have this one? PLEASE!?!
Daniel and Wesley even designed their own shoes for the collection. They were massive, intricately carved platforms (we felt so bad for the models!) adorned with giant clusters of purple barnacles, crystals and more ferocious sea urchin spines. To die for! All told, every piece was amazingly beautiful and you’d never imagine it was mostly polyester! (the point of the competition, really). WesFeld is clearly ready to demand some attention. Can’t wait to see what they do next season! Congrats guys!
