Project Runway Fashion Show Field Report from Trish O'Shea - Continued

Conceptually, the "challenge" could NOT have been more perfect for the location. Whoever decided to call the challenge "Larger Than Life" and have the designers create outfits that would be shown on models with stilts on deserves a raise (no pun intended!) From wherever you were it was easy to see the looks because the models were elevated. For an outdoor runway show packed with fans, it was the perfect challenge!

The poor models had to walk several times to make sure that there was enough film to work with. The judges had their little red cards, but we didn't get to actually hear the critique (I'm guessing that they went back to Parsons for that part.)

Heidi ended the event by having all of the girls come out and stand beside her and Tim so that we could see how much "larger than life" they were!

Had it been a bright, sunny day the location would have been absolutely breathtaking with the background of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, but it still turned out to be a success! Looks like good things are in store for Season 9!
