Malan Breton Fantome Continued

The first few looks were telling a black and white story and that's always chic and confident from this bridge-and-tunnel person's point of view. A big ball skirt, a jumpsuit and a coat among them. Corsets, buckles and bow or two, too. His showstopper at the end was a black gown that received solid applause.

There were several prints as well, the blue popping more than the others - dresses, pants, skirts and jackets. Amanda wore one of the prints, a gown. And one completely sheer top paired with a high waisted skirt in the black/blue/white geometric print.

Oh, and hats. Small caps and big peekaboo brims. I was reminded of Alexis Colby in one of her bitchier moods.

If the girls were sophisticated, the boys were walking fireworks - gold, orange, green, pink - each one exploding as he turned the
corner. The jackets were paired mostly with shorts or long pants with cuffs rolled up. T shirts underneath, suspenders and vests on top of vests - I think. Not a look I can rock at my age, but one jacket in a silverish lavender color made me drool for my lost youth and flat stomach.

Sitting just a couple seats away from me was American Idol's Constantin Maroulis. Elsewhere in the audience I noticed a lot of young men wearing jackets just like the Warblers wear on Glee.

I was thrilled to be a part of it - thank you Malan!
