TG: Well, it is full of surprises - a lot of drama - there is never a dull moment!
BPR: And what is new this season?
TG: Well, do you know about the anonymous runway?
BPR: No...
TG: When the models walk the runway, the judges will not know whose design is whose. Then after the scores are calculated and the top three and bottom three are chosen, the designers will come out.
BPR: Were the judges ever surprised?
TG: Sometimes, but as the season goes on, it becomes easier to identify the designers.
BPR: And I suppose if they keep the same model, it would be pretty obvious...
TG: There is some model switching this season!
BPR: And of course, we are excited to see that you will be seated with the judges during the deliberations. Are you actually a judge?
TG: No - but there is something else that is new. The top three and bottom three models will step forward to allow the judges to actually the examine the garments close up.
Zac Posen was shocked at how sloppy some of the designs are. I said, "YOU trying making something in six hours."
BPR: And we are very interested to see if you will use your "save..."
TG: Oh yes I will, and it is fairly early in the season.
